Task Two - Production

Part One

When i began filming for my advertisement i used different types of equipment to create this advertisement. To film the different parts for my advertisement i used a camera, and SD card and a tripod. It was important that i filmed all of the shots in many different angles as it needed to be edited together to make it look realistic. We made sure that when we were filming that the lighting was brigt enough for the footage to be able to be viewed without brightening it up. This meant that we would have to film the shots a few times to check and see what lighting would be better for the production.

Before i began filming i made sure that all of the actors and actresses knew what they were doing and made sure that if they forgot what they were doing we would be able to tell them while filming what they needed to do. We made sure that throughout our production we were checking all areas to make sure that their would be nothing in the way that could harm the actress. We done this by making sure that when the actress were filming they had no tripping hazzards, we also made sure that they were all wearing appropriate clothing for them to be able to act in.

Throughout the content of filming i made sure that there was nothing that could prevent me from being able to film, it as important that when i filmed i could shoot different parts at different times and make sure that if i needed anymore footage that i could film it whenever was possible. Also throughout the process of filming i made sure that i could change footage if i needed to, and that all of the footage was able to be used rather than having some pieces of footage that could not be used at all. I also made sure that when i filmed the footage could be used together and would look good when the clip was put together.

Part Two

When i began to upload my footage some of the footage was useless and we ended up having to re-film all of our footage because some of the footage we had did not match up with others. We then had to re edit because when we edited the footage before it was changed it didn't look match well enough for us to use.

Once i had all of the footage that i was using organised i began to edit my advertisement. I used different ways of editing to edit the clips that i had filmed, and i used the dissolve to make sure that if the clips didn't look good with the jump i would put the dissolve in because it would be a smooth flowing clip. I also used techniques to speed up and slow down clips that i felt would look better at different paces.

When i was editing i used different editing techniques like layering, i used this technique as it made the clips look more interesting. With this clip i also slowed down some of the layers as this would make them go off of the screen at different times, this worked well as after this i used a piece of footage that i used a different technique at the beginning of to make this clip come on the screen as the last clip was coming off. This technique was called a cube square it made the clip turn as i put in the right place for it to move at this right time. 

The final editing i used was key framing to make the clip at the end of my advertisement move. To do this i had to first crop the background out of the picture and then i had to add the key frames to make it move from one side of the screen to the other. When i was editing the music i had to make the ending of the clip quieter, because at the end there is speaking that would need to be heard i also used key frame to do this small bit of editing. 

I had to create text for the beginning of my clip to show what the it was for, and at the end of the clip i used text to show the product i was advertising and the slogan that i used. I had to import my music from the internet and this was because i could not find it anywhere else, this was also the only way i would be able to access it. I also had to import to images for the end of my clip as i could access them easier on the internet.

To export the file i had to us different techniques to change some of the settings, this was because i would not have been able to put the footage onto my blog if i did not change some of these settings.
